Eleven

Connor turned 11 today. He spent the first part of his day running around with Dad and a few friends. They went to lunch, to see a new movie, and to Malibu Jack's to play arcade games and ride go carts. And then we had family over for dinner, cake and presents!

4H Camp Field Trip

When we first heard about this overnight field trip for all fourth graders, we weren't sure how the twins would do or if we should even attempt it. After talking with their teams, in the end, we decided to take the twins on the first part of the field trip, but bring them home at the end of the day.

They got to ride the bus with their classmates, always a highlight for both boys.

We started with lunch and orientation under the pavilion ...

And then we moved into team-building activities ...

We took a break and wandered around on our own, giving the boys some much needed unstructured downtime ...

We found our way to the lake ...

We threw rocks and watched the sun set ...

And enjoyed a fun day with two boys ...
