Autism Safety Day

Today we went to visit Daddy and his fellow firefighter P, who helps put on the annual Autism Safety Day. 

Art Wall

Xander LOVES to draw. If he can't have a screen, which is always his first choice, then he's in his room coloring and drawing and creating something. We're actually running out of wall space. He's covered his dry erase wall (as well as the one in Sawyer's room). He's got something on every single wall. He even started taping his "Exit Sign" art on the magnet wall in his room. Now he's progressed to taping things on the ceiling ...

A Day for the Big Boy

Aunt Kelly is an amazing CLS worker for Sawyer five or six days every single week. She's also still an incredibly amazing aunt to Connor and Xander, finding things that they will enjoy and taking them out on special adventures.

Tonight it was Connor's turn, and they visited the nearby Clark County fair. They rode rides, ate carnival food, and apparently drank some Mountain Dew (something the kids don't get at home).

Summer Adventures

The twins are out with their CLS workers for the day, so Connor and I planned a little adventure of our own. We headed out to Raven Run for a little early summer hiking to the river overlook. It was a little hot, but at least not as crowded as the last time we came. We actually got to park in the normal parking lot, instead of the overflow grass field!

Connor was a bit tired by the time we made it to the overlook (and a bit overdramatic, as usual) ...
