One of our summer goals for OT was to help Xander learn to ride a bike. Typically, kids learn when they're much younger and with much smaller bikes. Xander has always done well on the Razor scooter, but balked when we tried to get him on any of the other bikes that Connor had beyond the first one with training wheels. Sometimes, with some things, letting someone else help makes all the different. His fabulous OT Michelle worked with him for several weeks, first just with balance and glides, until a few weeks ago when he finally just took off. And now here he is, riding his bike in the cul-de-sac in front of our house like a big boy, like someone who's always been able to ride a bike and not someone who learned for the first time a few weeks ago.
