Waimea Canyon

It's hard to believe that one island can have so many different attributes, but Kauai has so many beautiful areas. It's one of the reasons that I really wanted to come back to Hawaii and just stay on this island for two weeks.

So wild to be standing above the clouds ...



On the Canyon Trail overlooking Waimea Canyon (that's one steep drop over the edge) ...









The very top part of Waipo'o Falls (not sure this final view would be worth the hike to some, but a beautiful day to be out exploring anyway) ...



So, essentially, we walked just over 3.5 miles round trip, across that dirt bald, to see the very small top of this waterfall ...
