In order to have a date night, Grandma and Grandpa from the lake had to come up to keep the boys for us (it was Josh's side of the family having the wedding, so all of our usual babysitters were attending). The boys went with Grandma and Grandpa to watch Cousin A play
baseball that night, and then Connor got to pack his bags and head back to the lake for an extended vacation.
As you can see, he's having a big time. There's all kinds of fun things to do at the lake. Go boating and swimming. Try fishing for the very first time (though he was not particularly impressed when the fish didn't immediately start biting on his line). Go for rides in Grandpa's new toy - a Polaris Ranger. You know, boy stuff.
It's hard to be five, you know.
